Community Service

Regardless of where we spent our childhood, many of us share fond memories of growing up in a community. A community where the residents sat on their porches and visited across the warm breezes of clear summer evenings, where local merchants were patronized for the goods and services they offered. One in which people knew their neighbors’ names and greeted each other warmly, a place where the neighbors looked out for the neighborhood children as they laughed and played and walked to and from school.

These communities of our collective memory valued loyalty and the offer of helping hands. They saw difference as strength, not necessarily an obstacle to human relations.  They balanced a sense of history and stability with an appreciation of the transforming potential of constructive change. They recognized the uniqueness and worth of each member of the community.  They were, in fact, extended families.

At Yandutse Nursery and Primary school we believe in giving back to the community that have supported us to where we are at the moment, we believe in bringing about a positive change, we believe in taken the first step towards providing a better world.

As part of our community service we have engaged in the following:

  • Rehabilitated Miller road, Bompai, Kano
  • Provided full scholarship for selected children from the kano state motherless babies home
  • Built and Furnished an ICT laboratory and also provide 4 Computer systems for Yandutse Village community primary school.
